Community Service Opportunities
Current community involvement of the Torrance Branch of AAUW includes:
Tech Trek: Scholarship program for seventh grade girls to attend a summer science, math and technology camp
TTAG – Alumnae group of Tech Trek girls that have completed a Tech Camp and wish to continue to network with other like minded girls. This is a tri-branch effort with Advisors from Torrance, Beach Cities and Palos Verdes Branches.
Public Policy Issues: Information and advocacy – Lobby Day – Meet with your Congress person
