Film Group – Stories That Inspire, Conversations That Connect

The Torrance AAUW Film Group meets on the fourth Wednesday evening of each month to explore and discuss one or two selected films.
Often international in scope and centered on women’s lives—whether shaped by extraordinary or everyday circumstances—these films offer powerful insights and perspectives. All selections are available on DVD, VHS, or for rental through the library or other local sources.
Each session is led by a member, with open discussion encouraged. Whether you’re drawn to cinematic storytelling or simply enjoy thought-provoking conversation, you’ll find a welcoming space here. Light refreshments and engaging dialogue round out the evening in a relaxed, friendly setting.
